My response to a letter I received from a JW doing FS

it is a response to a letter i received to explain god`s kingdom and to refer me to jw.org.

so obviously he has sent many more around this community.. i intend to send this letter back with my hand written response as follows.

Oh Smiddy - I like to give them my full name and address - you end up with these wonderful tumbleweed moments. So these zealous preachers are... hmmm... where? And their response is... silence. It's very peaceful and relaxing.

It's not really as much faff as this but keeping vampires at bay ain't that difficult. You just pull out your Bible and slap 'em with the Scriptures.

All of us here have experienced how two-faced Watchtower is. Yes it pretends to be Christian but they are not.

Genuine charity and sharing is a fundamental Christian value:

(Acts 2:44) . . .All those who became believers were together in having all things in common,

(Matthew 6:3-4) . . .But you, when making gifts of mercy, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, 4 that your gifts of mercy may be in secret; then your Father who is looking on in secret will repay you. . .

That said, I remember an African sister telling me how two-faced a Catholic priest in Africa was. She explained to me that the British would send their clothes off for charity but when they reached her part of Africa they ended up in the hands of a priest who would only give the clothes away in return for an act of prostitution.

I have no detailed facts for this story, therefore I cannot assess how true it is. But I can imagine such senarios taking place (not only with clothes but also with food) in both secular and religious settings where people are being two-faced.

1895 was an important year...

They changed the cover of the Watchtower.

Appropriately, on January 1, 1895, the Watch Tower magazine changed its front-cover design to show a corner watchtower at the edge of a raging sea. Boarding a bus going anywhere else would mean that you would head in the wrong direction.

Watchtower isn't a bus it's a hijacked plane - those steering the plane have a LOT to answer for. They claim to be Christian but they are not. Their aim is a crisis of conscience and the destruction of Christian faith.

A positive about been a former JW

i decided on christmas day to wash the house and do some yard work.

i had a concerned neighbour come out and bring me some of their christmas food.

although i appreciated the food and wished her a merry christmas, the neighbour was concerned as to why i wasn’t inside enjoying christmas.

We were always encouraged to boldy witness. I did my best and made sure everyone knew I didn't celebrate Christmas. So this year, friendly people have been saying to me, "you don't celebrate Christmas." This has given me a fine opportunity to explain what happened to me.

Hi Smiddy - no suggestions but I have one that I'm going to do as well. I am delighted to let you know I have been sent a copy of the little brochure 'Return to Jehovah'.

I know the big bad GB are so and sos, but the individual publishers can be so sweet. So I'm going to take the approach that they wrote to me because they care and I'm going to convey that I care very much about them.

Data-Dog - yes they are Communists with religion - the logic behind 1914 is that the messiah is a new age of history not Jesus Christ's promised return. They want a nice crisis to say 'we are in a new age/epoch of Man's history, therefore you must do things our way.'

One of the elders in my ex-cong was asked to be the Agenda 21 rep for our area. He told me this himself back in the 90s (I think). I was quite a while ago. His best friend wanted to be a Sufist. They were very, very close. The best friend was not a JW.

This is the same JW family who set up the Jah-Jireh nursing homes.

Road to nowhere - they can't count. Well they can but it's special counting. And the covid referred to might be the 11th plague visited upon the Eygptians (Exodust 41:42) which will be dealt in in next week's Watchtower study which took place last year.

They are gaslighters - and you need to always have your gaslight snuffer to hand when dealing with them.

Neat Blue Dog - they are very civil rights/green aren't they. As if that's the people they were out looking for. What you find amongst the deep greens is that they consider Pan is the one who will return when all the industry has gone. Then Pan and the nymphs and satyrs will prance back and everyone will be... back in the Age of Aquarius or something. That was supposed to be 1975 though wasn't it? :)

God gave me a brain - I know that people have to have come before they have arrived and thereafter they are present.

Jesus said what Jesus said - I realised Watchtower was messing with the meaning of Jesus' words and that I had been lied to in my Bible study. Watchtower's con trick might be clever but Jesus' words cannot be tampered with. So I credit Jesus and thank His Father, Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for giving me a brain.
